This policy explains what Boise Tree Pros collects when you use this website or call the number on it, why we collect it, and who else receives it.

Who we are

Boise Tree Pros operates boisetreepro.com as a referral service for tree care in Boise and the Treasure Valley. We are not a tree care contractor. See our disclosure for how that works.

Information you give us

• When you use the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, property location, and whatever you write about the job.
• When you call: your phone number, the time and length of the call, and the number you dialled.

Calls are tracked, and may be recorded

The phone numbers on this site are tracking numbers. When you call, the connection is handled by a call-routing provider that records call metadata — the originating number, the time, the duration, and which page or campaign the number appeared on — so that the referral can be attributed and paid for.

Calls may also be recorded by the provider or by the contractor who answers. Where a call is recorded you will normally hear a notice at the start of the call. If you would rather not be recorded, say so when the call connects, or use the contact form instead.

Call records are shared with the contractor receiving your enquiry and with the advertising network that connects the call, because both need them to handle your job and to account for the referral.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we receive technical information from your browser: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and which pages you viewed. We use two analytics tools:

• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic measurement. IP anonymisation is enabled. Google's practices are covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft Clarity — records how pages are used, including scrolling and clicks, so we can find broken or confusing layouts. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Both set cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings; the site works without them.

How we use it

• To connect you with a tree care contractor serving your area.
• To respond to what you asked us.
• To understand which pages are useful and which are not.
• To account for referrals with the contractor or network that pays for them.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email or texts from this site.

Who receives your information

• The contractor who takes your enquiry. Once your details reach them, their own privacy practices apply, not ours.
• Our call-routing and advertising network partners, for connection and attribution.
• Analytics providers, as described above.
• Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, such as in response to lawful process.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and call records are retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and to account for the referral, and then deleted. Analytics data is retained on the schedule set by each analytics provider.

Your choices

• Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it.
• Ask not to be recorded when a call connects.
• Block cookies in your browser, or use its Do Not Track setting.
• Use the contact form rather than the phone if you prefer not to be called back.

To make any of these requests, contact us. Note that once your details have been passed to a contractor, you will need to contact them directly about what they hold.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging work on property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect what we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date below. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
